Anybody know?

so i just got a new computer, and it has two free months of antivirus, and spyware. But what do you think the best spyware/antivirus, anti spam, etc. for when this two months is up? I heard you can get them for free off the net.....some help plz?

The best anti virus software you can have is your own common sense! P2P sites such as limewire and bearshare are the favorite method of passing malware these days! Most people who use these sites arent even aware that they are helping to spread malware! So you can download 10 bucks worth of tunes for free, how much will you save when your PC is in the shop being cleaned?

most free ones are not worth risking.

It is much better to pay for one/some.
I really like Trend Micro products. They seem to be very thorough....blocking spyware, malware, viruses, spam, etc. The free ones generally use the panda software engine. They usually get the big stuff, but are much slower to react to new viruses.
I use windows defender and works great for me

Grisoft AVG was recommended to me by a computer guy. It updates every day.
