I just asked this question about a weird pop-up & was told could be a virus but I have AVG &

this is the pop-up message I get:

Mad has caused and error in KERNEL32.DLL.

Mad will now close.

Anyone know if this is really a virus and why my AVG (anti-virus program) never picks it up after it scans? I have it programmed to scan for viruses daily. My AVG is the full version too. I purchased it for a full two years. I was also told it may be some sort of spyware / adware. Can you recommend a good spyware program that offers a free trial?

KERNEL32.DLL. is not a virus, there are a number of things it could be.

first download %26 run:

This should sort out the problem; however if you still getting pop ups run:

In regards to AVG AV - it has a poor detection rate only 82% if I was paying for a AV then I would want a higher detection rate.
