Problems with adaware?

recently had to do a complete reinstall of windows xp through x copy. since then i have had problems with lavasoft adaware 1.6 it scans as normal then stops completley on C:\Documents and settings compaq_owner\local\settings\application data? i am running spyware doctor,zonealarm firewall,avg free any suggestions

I agree with everyone who state that you should re-install Ad-Aware again however the programs your running (AVG,Spy Doctor %26 Ad-Aware) are very limited to what they find %26 remove, If when you re-load Ad-Aware your still having problems check to see if your computer is really clean, use Bit denfender online scan.

Problems with adaware?spyware removal

Contact a local computer person/shop via yellow pages etc. and have your computer completely wiped. It will cost you about 拢35.00. The computer person will reinstall everything and make sure your manchine is functioning to it's maximum potential. I think this is the best thing to do if you don't completely understand computers.

run ccleaner.

download a new copy of ad aware , install, update.
If your XP is licensed try MS Defender instead
I had problems with lavasoft adaware, so uninstalled it and replaced with adalert, works fine now!
need to uninstall and try reinstalling it, and check for updates after installing
try reinstalling adaware then search for updates for it, i had the same problem, and reinstalling it sorted it out, hope that helps.
