i need to get a anti-spyware programe that is free, will not slow down my laptop, will update with out me knowing and is good at destroying the spyware.

Try going on download.com. It has lots off software. Alot of it is for free and some is trial. Just have a look under the Anti Virus and \Spyware section. www.download.com
